A static discharge post supplied with its earth lead already fitted: the yellow cable is coiled at the foot of the pole, so the installer has only to run it to the nearest earth bar. The operator touches the black ball at the top, the charge leaves the body through the post and the lead, and the bilingual blue sign at chest height states the requirement.
Earth lead fitted at the base — a yellow cable is coiled at the bottom of the post and terminated to the body, so the earthing run is a single connection on site.
Black touch ball — one contact point; the operator rests a hand on the ball, nothing to press or turn.
Blue bilingual sign — hand-and-ground symbol with the instruction to eliminate static electricity, in Chinese and English, at chest height.
Polished stainless post — resists splash and wash-down, with the model label on the neck under the ball.
Round fixing base — drilled base plate that bolts flat to concrete or steel plate.
Nothing to power or service — no battery, no electronics and no moving parts; wipe the ball and check the earth connection periodically.
