A grounding controller for tank trucks, drums and transfer lines handling flammable liquids or combustible powders. The terminals sit in a cast aluminium Exd enclosure with a digital display head on the lid, and the grounding clamp reaches the bonding point on a blue coiled cable, so the operator can clamp on and read the display from the same position.
Exd cast-aluminium enclosure — heavy-wall cast housing marked Exd on the lid, keeping the terminals in a sealed box.
Digital display head — a display unit sits on top of the enclosure so the state can be read without opening the box.
Brass cable glands — sealed brass entries on the sides of the enclosure for the clamp cable and the earth lead.
Blue coiled cable — spiral cable from the enclosure to the clamp, with a rubber sleeve on the clamp end.
Stainless steel grounding clamp — spring clamp with a screw terminal, gripping the tank shell, drum rim or earth bar.
Ring terminal earth lead — separate lead finished with a ring lug so it can be bolted straight to the earth bar.
