Automatic Retractable Cable Reel Static Grounding Alarm RY-JDB-R

A static grounding alarm built on an automatic retractable cable reel. The cable pulls out to whatever length is needed, locks at any position and rewinds with a light tug, so there is no loose cable on the floor at a loading rack. A 304 stainless clamp with carbide pins sits at the end of the cable, and the alarm module monitors loop resistance continuously.

• Auto-retract reel with ratchet lock — a high-tension alloy power spring pulls the cable out to the required length and locks it at any position, then rewinds it smoothly, so trailing cable does not lie across the walkway.

• 304 stainless clamp — heavy-duty clamp with hardened carbide penetration pins that cut through industrial paint, rust and grease for bare-metal contact.

• 55 ohm loop monitoring — the circuit supervises the grounding loop and alarms on high resistance or disconnection.

• LED and buzzer alarm — high-intensity visual LED with a piezo buzzer rated at 90 dB or more at 30 cm; the alarm goes quiet once the loop is good.

• Intrinsically safe construction — Ex ia IIC T6 Ga, suitable for Zone 0/1/2 gas and dust areas.

• Sealed lithium battery, IP65 electronics — epoxy encapsulated against rain, dust and oil, with 8-minute auto-sleep and instant wake on clamping, for 3 to 5 years of service.

• Cable lengths to suit the bay — oil-resistant anti-static dual-core copper cable in 6, 10 or 15 m.
