A portable static grounding alarm built into a 304 stainless steel carrying case. Two grounding clamps and two coiled cables travel inside the case, so the unit can be carried to offshore platforms, marine terminals, tank trucks or drum dispensing points and set up in seconds. The alarm monitors the loop continuously and sounds when resistance rises above the threshold or a clamp is disconnected.
304 stainless steel carrying case — brushed heavy-gauge case with a folding handle, resistant to chemical fumes, salt fog and outdoor weather.
Dual grounding clamps — two clamps with hardened carbide contact pins; one for the earth grid, one for the tank or barrel.
Two coiled cables — both cables recoil into the case, with an integrated organiser so the clamps and cables stay tangle free in transit.
55 ohm loop monitoring — the circuit supervises the grounding loop and alarms on high resistance or disconnection.
LED and buzzer alarm — high-intensity visual LED with a piezo buzzer rated at 90 dB or more at 30 cm.
Intrinsically safe construction — Ex ia IIC T4/T6 Ga, suitable for Zone 0/1/2 areas.
Battery options and cable lengths — replaceable dry cell or 3 to 5 year lithium battery; cable in 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 m.
