Stainless Steel Hand Sanitising Turnstile Gateway

A personnel gateway for hand hygiene only. The operator puts both hands into the two blue-rimmed ports in the head unit, the hands are sanitised automatically, and the three-arm turnstile at the centre releases so the person can pass. The sanitising liquid sits in a white reservoir on a cradle at the side of the column, and the whole unit is 304 stainless steel on levelling feet.

Key Features

• Two hand ports with automatic sanitising — both hands go into the ports together and the sanitising step runs without pressing anything, so the routine is the same for every person at the gateway.

• Turnstile release at the centre — the three-arm turnstile is mounted on the column between the ports and the exit, which is what actually holds the person at the unit until the hand cycle is done.

• 12 persons per minute — the cycle is short enough for a shift change at a plant entrance.

• Emergency stop on the head unit — a red mushroom stop on a yellow base sits on the top face beside the operating indicator, within reach from the front.

• Status indication on the head — the top panel carries indicator lamps next to the stop, so the state of the unit is visible from the queue side.

• Side reservoir with tube feed — the sanitising liquid is held in a white bottle on a stainless cradle at the base of the column, fed by tube, so it can be swapped without opening the head unit.

• 220 V single phase, 0.05 kW — a normal single-phase supply at very low draw runs the unit, so it does not need a three-phase feed at the doorway.

• 304 stainless steel column and head — head, column, turnstile arms, cradle and feet are all 304, on a wet floor and under daily wash-down.
