This combination emergency shower and eyewash station integrates a high-capacity overhead drench shower, a twin-nozzle eyewash basin and a one-piece stainless steel spill-containment platform in a single free-standing unit. Fabricated from high-quality 304 (SUS304) stainless steel, it is corrosion resistant, heavy-duty and suitable for continuous duty in aggressive industrial environments.
The platform is the key differentiator: the sloping stainless steel deck, the bright yellow non-slip grating and the chamfered, hazard-striped perimeter form a self-draining containment basin that collects all run-off from the shower and eyewash. Water is directed to a built-in sump and drained away through the platform outlet, so the surrounding floor stays dry and contaminated wash water never spreads across the workplace. This protects personnel from slipping and prevents secondary contamination of the site.
Overhead emergency shower – large-diameter deluge head with a pull rod and triangular handle, providing a full-body flush at ≥ 75.7 L/min (20 GPM); the stay-open valve is released by a single pull of the rod.
Dual-head eyewash basin – two soft-flow spray heads with flip-top dust covers, activated by a push plate / push handle valve, delivering ≥ 11.4 L/min (3.0 GPM) of aerated water to both eyes simultaneously.
Main standpipe – heavy-wall 304 stainless steel column finished with high-visibility yellow and black hazard warning stripes so the unit can be located instantly in an emergency.
Spill-containment drain basin platform – one-piece stainless steel base with sloped deck, integrated collection sump and drain outlet; supplied with a heavy-duty yellow non-slip grating walkway.
Hazard-striped chamfered edges – yellow and black anti-collision, anti-trip bevels around the platform perimeter improve visibility and safety at floor level.
Corrosion-resistant construction – 304 stainless steel bowl, pipework and platform; chrome-plated brass valves with stainless trim for long service life.
ANSI-compliant identification sign – pre-drilled, highly visible safety sign supplied with the unit.
Factory assembled and water tested – every unit is fully assembled and pressure/flow tested before shipment.

In case of chemical splash, reach the station within 10 seconds (ANSI Z358.1 access requirement) and stand on the yellow grating platform.
Pull the triangular handle downward to open the shower valve; the stay-open valve keeps the deluge running without being held.
For eye or face exposure, push the eyewash plate / handle to start the twin spray heads; use thumbs and forefingers to hold the eyelids open and roll the eyes so water reaches all surfaces.
Flush for a minimum of 15 minutes, then remove contaminated clothing under the running water and seek medical attention.
After use, close the valves (push the eyewash plate back / lift the shower rod) – the drain basin collects the run-off and discharges it through the platform outlet.
Position the unit on a level, load-bearing floor close to the hazard zone, with a clear path and no obstructions; keep the area within the ANSI 10-second travel distance.
Connect the 1-1/4" NPT / G water supply to the inlet and the 1-1/4" NPT / G drain to the plant waste-water line or collection tank.
Flush the supply piping before connection to remove debris, then check all joints for leaks at 0.2 – 0.4 MPa working pressure.
Verify flow rates (shower ≥ 75.7 L/min, eyewash ≥ 11.4 L/min), tepid water temperature where required, and valve self-closing / stay-open function.
Mount the identification sign at eye level and record the commissioning date on the inspection tag.
Activate the shower and eyewash weekly to confirm operation and to flush the supply line.
Inspect and clean the eyewash spray heads, filters and flip-top dust covers monthly; remove scale and debris.
Clean the yellow non-slip grating and the drain basin sump regularly, and confirm the drain runs freely to prevent standing water.
Check for leaks, corrosion and damage to hazard striping; replace worn components with original parts.
Carry out a full annual inspection against ANSI Z358.1-2014 / EN 15154 and keep written records.
Designed and manufactured to meet ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2014 and EN 15154 requirements for emergency shower and eyewash equipment, including flow rate, simultaneous operation, valve activation and identification-sign provisions.
Chemical plants, laboratories, oil & gas facilities, pharmaceutical production, heavy industry, hazardous material handling and storage areas, battery charging rooms and anywhere corrosive or irritant substances are handled.
