An entrance gate that combines hand sanitising, boot washing and controlled release in one step. The operator steps onto the platform, puts both hands into the two port openings to be sanitised, and the roller brushes clean the boot soles; the gate then releases so the person can walk through. The whole unit is 304 stainless steel, on a diamond-plate deck with a step platform at the entry side.

Key Features

• Four-step sequence at one station — step in, hands sanitised, boots cleaned, gate opens: the whole entry routine happens at the unit, so a plant does not need a separate hand station and a separate boot washer at the same doorway.

• Two hand port openings — the upper housing has two blue-rimmed ports that the operator puts both hands into, so the sanitising step is done inside the housing rather than at an open dispenser.

• Double roller brush under the deck — a 200 mm diameter by 480 mm brush pair sits in the walkway, so the boot soles are scrubbed as the operator stands on the platform.

• Throughput of six persons per minute — the cycle is short enough that a shift change does not queue up at the gateway.

• Gate released after the cycle — the gate arm at the exit opens once the sequence is complete, so the entry cannot be bypassed without going through the sanitising and brushing steps.

• Emergency stop and main switch — a red stop on the top housing and a separate main switch with indicator on the side column, both within reach of the operator or a supervisor standing beside the unit.

• 304 stainless steel, wash-down ready — housing, frame, deck, rails and tank are all stainless, which is what a wet gateway in a food or pharma plant requires.

• Handrails and step platform — formed tube rails on both sides and a bolt-on perforated step give the operator support while stepping up onto a wet deck.
