A three-joint extraction arm moulded entirely from high-density modified polypropylene, finished in pure white for laboratories where the extraction arm sits in the middle of the room rather than against a wall. The joints hover rather than flop, the dome hood is 375 mm across, and the butterfly damper is built into the straight duct section with a knurled knob. A ceiling flange is the standard mounting, with a wall bracket as the alternative.
All-PP construction — duct, joints and hood are moulded from high-density modified polypropylene, so there is no painted steel or plated hardware to corrode in acid and alkali vapour.
Pure white UV-resistant finish — an anti-ageing surface that keeps its colour under daylight and under laboratory lighting instead of yellowing as ordinary white plastics do.
375 mm dome hood — a wide-mouth hemispherical dome that collects vapour rising off the bench, not only what passes straight up the duct.
Three-joint hovering action — 360 degree swivel with pitch hovering, held by POM friction rings and tightening knobs, so the arm stays where it is placed instead of sinking under its own weight.
Built-in butterfly damper — a stepless manual damper knob inside the straight duct section balances airflow and static pressure, so several arms can share one fan.
Smooth 75 mm bore — the internal wall is smooth rather than ribbed, which keeps air turbulence, noise and pressure drop down over the 3 m length.
Ceiling flange as standard — a heavy-duty mounting flange for ceiling or wall fixing, with an optional wall bracket for benches that back onto a wall.
Shipped as a flat kit — the arm travels as moulded sections, joints and hood in one carton, with the joints assembled on site.
