A 75 litre eye wash on a stainless steel trolley. The green moulded tank carries the basin in one piece, the tank sits on a polished stainless frame with castors and folding push handles, and a green crate on the lower deck catches the runoff. Nothing needs connecting: fill it, wheel it, use it.
It is the largest tank in the cart range, and the frame is stainless rather than painted steel — the combination that suits a unit which is wheeled around a plant, hosed down and expected to last.
Longest run time in the range – at a nominal 11.4 L/min eyewash flow, 75 L gives roughly six and a half minutes, still short of the fifteen-minute standard but well beyond the smaller carts.
Several tests per fill – weekly activation plus an incident before it needs refilling.
Two casualties – a second person can be flushed after the first without the unit running dry.
Fewer trips – the walk to a tap happens once a week, not every shift.
Polished stainless frame – resists wash-down water, chemical splash and salt air; nothing to repaint.
Folding push handles – fold down for transport or storage and lift back up when the cart is moved.
Castors all round – brakes on the front pair hold the cart steady while it is in use.
Flat deck with retaining lips – the crate sits in place instead of sliding off when the trolley is pushed over a sill.
Handle height – set for pushing a loaded cart without stooping.
75 L green HDPE tank – moulded body with fill cap and integral basin.
Moulded basin – deep catch area around the spray heads, drains to the crate below.
Twin nozzles – set in the basin under a pull cover.
Stainless steel trolley – polished tube frame, folding handles, castors.
Green waste crate – sits on the deck under the basin outlet.

Fill the tank with clean tepid water and close the cap firmly.
Fold the handles up, wheel the cart to the hazard on level ground and brake the castors.
Pull the cover down, check both nozzles run clear and that the basin drains into the crate.
Time how long the tank lasts and mark the figure on the tank.
Weekly: replace the water, run the unit briefly, wipe the basin and nozzles, empty and rinse the crate.
After use: empty the crate, refill the tank, fold the handles down and return the cart to its marked position.
Weekly water change is the main task; standing water in a tank is where contamination starts.
Monthly: check castors and brakes, handle hinges, nozzles and crate.
Quarterly: sanitise and rinse the tank and crate; wipe the stainless frame and check welds for tea-staining.
Annually: inspect the tank moulding for crazing, especially around the basin, and re-test the run time.
ANSI Z358.1 calls for a fifteen-minute flush. Even at 75 L a gravity cart cannot deliver that at eyewash flow, so the unit is a first-response station that must lead to a plumbed facility — measure and mark the duration it actually gives, change the water weekly, keep it tepid where the standard requires it, and keep the cart within about ten seconds of the hazard with a clear approach. Collected runoff should be disposed of under the site's chemical rules.
Turnaround and shutdown work, large workshops and maintenance halls, construction and laydown areas, food and beverage plants, chemical stores, and sites that need one station to cover several bays during a shift.
