A wall-mounted eye wash finished in one colour throughout: bowl, pedestal, back plate and nozzle caps all in the same orange coating, with a green PUSH plate carrying a white pictogram. The unit hangs on a rectangular wall plate, so nothing stands on the floor and there is no bench to provide.
Coating rather than bare metal is the point of this model. A coated body gives a colour you can specify — to match a plant's safety scheme, to stand out against grey equipment, or to keep a consistent finish across a site — and it can be touched up when a trolley clips it, which is not true of an anodised or polished surface.
Colour as identification – the whole unit reads as one object at a distance instead of a metal bowl lost against grey plant.
Corrosion barrier – the coating keeps splash and humid air off the substrate; edges and brackets are the usual starting points for rust.
Repairable finish – chips can be touched up on site without special equipment.
Consistent appearance – where several units are installed along a wall, the finish stays uniform instead of drifting like bare polished steel.
Easy to clean – a smooth cured coating wipes down and does not hold chemical residue in scratches.
Coated bowl – deep bowl with rolled rim, orange finish.
Coated pedestal and back plate – rectangular wall plate, four fixings.
Twin spray heads – matching orange caps, angled for eye-level flushing.
Green PUSH plate – white pictogram and lettering, stainless frame, bracketed beside the bowl.
Single water connection – supply enters behind the back plate.

Set the plate height so the spray heads sit at eye level for the shortest regular user.
Position the unit over a tray, channel or floor drain — the outlet drops straight down behind the plate.
Anchor all four fixings; the wall must take the load of someone leaning into the bowl.
Connect the supply behind the plate, fit an isolation valve upstream, flush the line before use.
Set the flow: both heads should give an even, soft stream that stays inside the bowl.
Check the plate latches open, closes cleanly, and that the green sign faces the approach.
Weekly: activate the unit, check both heads run clear, wipe the bowl.
Monthly: check the wall fixings and the drain.
Quarterly: clean the heads and strainer; check the coating at edges and fixings for chips.
Annually: measure the flow; touch up coating damage before it becomes corrosion.
Designed to meet ANSI Z358.1-2014 eyewash requirements for flow, hands-free operation and bowl coverage. Siting within about ten seconds of the hazard, tepid water, weekly activation and signage at the approach remain site responsibilities. Body colour is a site coding decision and does not change compliance. Where the body as well as the eyes may be exposed, a drench shower is required in addition.
Workshops and maintenance bays, plant rooms, paint and solvent stores, warehouses, food and beverage areas, and walls where the plant safety scheme calls for a specific colour rather than bare stainless.
Order by model RYEW-PC-01. Please state mounting height, inlet size, drain arrangement and the colour required if it differs from the standard orange. Stainless bowl versions, ABS bowl versions with drain leg, and combination shower and eyewash stations are also available.
