A 53 litre eye wash on wheels. The green tank sits on a wheeled frame with a push handle, the twin nozzles are covered by a tray that pulls down to start the flow, and a green waste bin rides on the lower deck to catch everything that comes off the face. Fill it from any tap, wheel it to the job, and it is ready — no supply pipe and no drain.
Four models share the same tank, frame and nozzles. They differ in the front panel and in whether a wash gun is fitted, so the same cart can cover eye splash only, or eye plus body splash where a hose is needed.
| Model | Front panel | Wash gun |
| XM2407L | Open tray panel with pull-down cover | No |
| XM2407LA | Solid front panel | No |
| XM2407LB | Open tray panel with pull-down cover | Yes, hose gun at tank side |
| XM2407LC | Open tray panel with pull-down cover | Yes, high-level gun on a coiled hose |
Work moves – maintenance, turnaround and shutdown work travels; the eye wash travels with it.
No services – no water line, no drain, no power; the bin deals with the runoff wherever the cart stands.
One cart, several hazards – positioned at the task rather than hoping the worker walks to a wall unit.
Fast response – the tray is at chest height and pulls down without looking; the two-step label is printed at eye level.
53 L green HDPE tank – moulded body with carry handle and fill cap.
Pull-down tray – covers the nozzles when closed and starts the flow when pulled; the yellow label shows the sequence.
Twin nozzles – soft streams inside the tray, set at eye height.
Wheeled frame – green tubular frame with castors and a push handle; the tank sits at standing eye height.
Waste bin – green bin on the lower deck, removable for emptying.
Wash gun (LB / LC) – trigger gun on a coiled hose for body splash, mounted at the tank side.

Fill the tank with clean tepid water and close the cap firmly.
Wheel the cart to the hazard, on a level surface, with the front clear.
Pull the tray down and check both nozzles run clear and even.
Record how long 53 L lasts at that flow, and mark the figure on the unit; the flush is limited by the tank.
Weekly: replace the water, run the unit briefly, wipe the tray and nozzles, and check the castors.
After use: empty the waste bin, refill the tank and return the cart to its marked position.
Weekly water change is the main task; standing water in a tank is where contamination starts.
Monthly: check the tray hinge, nozzle caps, hose and gun (LB / LC) and the castor brakes.
Quarterly: sanitise and rinse the tank; check the label and the frame for corrosion at the welds.
Annually: inspect the tank for crazing and replace any nozzle that has lost its pattern.
ANSI Z358.1 calls for a fifteen-minute flush. A gravity cart carries 53 L, so the flush it can deliver depends on flow rate and on how much has already been drawn — measure and mark the duration, and treat the cart as a first-response unit that leads to a plumbed station. Water must be changed weekly and kept tepid where the standard requires it, and the cart must be kept within about ten seconds of the hazard with a clear approach.
Maintenance and turnaround work, construction sites, laydown and marshalling yards, workshops without water, battery and paint areas, spill response, agriculture and remote compounds.
Order by model: XM2407L (base, open tray panel), XM2407LA (solid panel), XM2407LB (with wash gun), XM2407LC (with high-level wash gun). Please state the quantity and whether spare trays or bins are needed. Static gravity stations, plumbed wall-mounted eye washes, and combination shower and eyewash stations are also available.
