A self-emptying wall eye wash with a green ABS bowl: twin nozzles on yellow heads, a stainless arm, a straight stainless leg that drops the bowl's contents away below the unit, and a yellow PUSH plate with red pictogram on a bracket beside the bowl.
Green is the version to choose when yellow and red are already spoken for. Many sites keep red for fire equipment, yellow for caution and green for safety and first-aid points, escape routes and medical cabinets. A green bowl joins the safety family instead of adding to the warning clutter.
Safety colour, not warning colour – green reads as "help is here", which is what an eye wash is, rather than "caution".
No conflict with existing codes – where floors, guards and machines are yellow and extinguishers red, green stays distinct.
Calm visual signal – in a plant full of hazard colour, green is easier to pick out as a place to run to.
Same hardware underneath – bowl colour is the only change from the yellow and red models, so fixings and spares are common.
Drains itself – the leg empties the bowl once the PUSH plate is released, so nothing stands against the outlet between tests.
Hygiene – a dry bowl is easier to defend in an audit than a standing puddle.
Freeze margin – removes the volume that cracks fixtures in unheated buildings.
Fault indicator – water left in the bowl after a weekly test means the drain is blocked or the fall is wrong.
Green ABS bowl – moulded, rolled edge, acid and alkali resistant.
Stainless arm and drain leg – rigid support with a straight vertical outlet below the bowl.
Twin nozzles – yellow heads on stainless stems, angled for eye-level flushing.
Round stainless wall flange – bolt to wall, covers the pipe entry.
Yellow PUSH plate – red pictogram, black lettering, stainless frame.

Set the flange height so the nozzles sit at eye level for the shortest regular user.
Plan the drain first: the leg must fall continuously to a gully, channel or tray.
Anchor the flange; the wall must take the load of someone leaning into the bowl.
Connect supply and drain, fit an isolation valve upstream, flush the line before use.
Run the unit, release the plate and watch the bowl empty.
Confirm the plate latches open and the yellow sign faces the approach.
Weekly: activate the unit, check both nozzles run clear and the bowl empties fully.
Monthly: check flange fixings, drain leg joints and the latch.
Quarterly: clean nozzles and strainer; check the bowl for crazing around the outlet.
Annually: measure the flow and re-check the drain fall.
Designed to meet ANSI Z358.1-2014 eyewash requirements for flow, hands-free operation and bowl coverage. Siting within about ten seconds of the hazard, tepid water, weekly activation and approach signage remain site responsibilities. The drain leg needs a continuous fall; where that cannot be achieved, mount the unit over a tray. Bowl colour is a site coding choice and does not change compliance: the unit must still be signed and lit as the local rules require.
Plants using green for safety and first-aid points, food and beverage areas, pharmaceutical and cosmetics rooms, laboratories, warehouses and unheated buildings.
Order by model RYEW-ABS-D03. Please state mounting height, inlet size and drain route. Yellow and red ABS bowls, the stainless bowl version, and combination shower and eyewash stations are also available.
